보시기에 참 좋았다(2026.04.19)

 

 

[시작하는 말]

  1.   주위를 둘러보십시오.

    1)   옆에 있는 사람들을 여러분이 보시기에 어떻습니까?

    2)   좋습니까?

 

 2.   어느 목사님이 독일 헤르후르트를 방문했는데 안내자가 예배당으로 인도를 했다고 합니다.

   1)   장식도 없는 소박한 강당이었다고 합니다.

   2)   진젠도르프가 화려한 장식을 두지 않은 이유는 ‘사람보다 더 아름다운 것은 없다’는 믿음 때문이었다고 합니다.

   3)   스바냐 선지자도 “너의 하나님 여호와가 너의 가운데 계시니 그는 구원을 베푸실 전능자시라 그가 너를 인하여 기쁨을 이기지 못하여 하시며 너를 잠잠히 사랑하시며 너로 인하여 즐거이 부르며 기뻐하시리라 하리라(습3:17 개역성경)

   4)   이어 방문한 묘지가 매우 인상적이었다고 합니다.

       a.   똑 같은 묘비들에는 이름 외에는 아무것도 새겨져 있지 않았다고 합니다.

      b.   누가 더 위대한지 누가 더 많은 일을 했는지 아무도 알 수 없었다고 합니다.

      c.   결국 남는 것은 이것 하나다. ‘예수님과 함께 살았는가?’

      d.   그 목사님은 기도회에 참석해서 기도했다고 합니다.

      e.   “주님, 내가 주님을 위해 사는 것이 아니라 주님이 내 안에 사시는 삶이 되게 하소서”

 

  5)   우리 스스로의 모습을 생각해 봅시다.

  6)   만족하십니까?

  7)   하나님 보시기에도 그렇게 좋으실까요? 

  8)   우리는 창조물 중에 유일하게 하나님의 형상과 하나님의 모양으로 지어진 사람입니다.

  9)   우리 삶에서 하나님의 형상과 모양을 볼 수 있습니까?

 

3.   왜 보이지 않을까요?

  1)   아담과 하와가 범죄하여 타락해서 그 모양이 깨어져 버렸기 때문입니다.

  2)   다시 회복해야 합니다.

  3)   하나님 보시기에 참 좋은, 심히 좋은 모습을 가져야 합니다.

 

Ⅰ. 우리는 하나님 보시기에 좋은 사람입니까?

  A.   하나님이 지으신 것은 모두 보시기에 좋았습니다.

   1.   오늘 성경은 하나님의 천지창조 이야기입니다.

    1)   6일에 걸쳐서 천지를 창조하셨습니다.

   2)   매일 다른 것들을 지으셨지만 같은 말이 반복됩니다.

   3)   보시기에 좋았다는 말씀입니다.

       a.   4절에 그 빛이 하나님 보시기에 좋았다.

       b.   10절에 (땅과 바다를 지으시고) 하나님 보시기에 좋았다.

       c.   12절에 (식물을 만드시고) 하나님 보시기에 좋았다.

       d.   18절에 (해와 달 별들을 지으시고) 하나님 보시기에 좋았다.

       e.   21절에 (바다 짐승과 하늘의 새들을 만드시고) 하나님 보시기에 좋았다.

       f.   31절에 보시기에 참 좋았다.(개역성경은 보시기에 심히 좋았더라)

      g.   왜 마지막 6일째는 심히 좋았을까요? 하나님의 형상과 모양을 닮은 사람을 지으셨기 때문이라고 학자들은 말합니다.

 

  B.   우리의 기준은 하나님 보시기에 어떤가라야 합니다.

    1.   집에서 음식을 할 때도

    2.   집에서 청소를 할 때도

    3.   자녀를 키울 때도 하나님 보시기에 좋은 수준으로 하신다면 가장 최선의 길이 될 것입니다.

    4.   사회에서 회사 생활을 하실 때나

    5.   사업을 하면서 거래처와 관계할 때나

    6.   고객들을 대할 때도 하나님 보시기에 좋은 수준으로 하신다면 존경받는 사람이 될 것입니다.

    7.   교회에서 찬송을 할 때나 기도를 할 때나 섬길 때 하나님 보시기에 좋은 수준을 생각하신다면 하나님께 큰 영광이 되고 우리에게는 큰 영감을 얻는 교회 생활이 될 것입니다.

 

 Ⅱ. 하나님이 보시기에 좋은 수준이 되려면 어떻게 해야 할까요? 

   A.   하나님께서 만들어 가시도록 우리의 삶을 양도해야 합니다.  

    1 .  어떻게 창조된 세계가 하나님 보시기에 좋았을까요?

      1)  그 대답은 선하신 하나님께서 창조하셨기 때문입니다.

    2.   사람이 만드는 것은 어떨까요?

     1)   사도 바울은 로마에 써 보낸 편지에서 이렇게 말하였습니다.

     2)   모든 사람이 죄를 범하였습니다. 그래서 사람은 하나님의 영광에 못 미치는 처지에 놓여 있습니다.(롬3:23)

   3.   마가는 복음서에 이렇게 기록하고 있습니다. 

     1)   또 그들에게 말씀하셨다. “사람에게서 나오는 것, 그것이 사람을 더럽힌다.

     2)   나쁜 생각은 사람의 마음에서 나오는데 곧 음행과 도둑질과 살인과

     3)   간음과 탐욕과 악의와 사기와 방탕과 악한 시선과 모독과 교만과 어리석음이다.

    4)   이런 악한 것이 모두 속에서 나와서 사람을 더럽힌다.(막7:20~23)

 

B.   하나님은 우리가 균형이 잡히고 조화롭게 성장하도록 이끄십니다.

1.   하나님의 창조과정은 매우 조화롭게 창조된 것을 볼 수 있습니다.

1)   하나님은 첫째 날에 빛을 창조하셨고 넷째 날에는 밤낮을 주관하는 두 큰 빛 즉 해와 달을 만드시고 별을 만드셨습니다.

2)   둘째 날에는 하늘과 바다를 지으시고 다섯째 날에는 하늘의 새와 바다의 생물들을 만드셨습니다.

3)   셋째 날에는 식물과 나무를 만드시고 여섯째 날에는 들짐승 집짐승을 만드시고 사람을 지으셨습니다.

4)   이렇게 서로 조화롭게 만드셨습니다.

2.   예수님이 이 땅에 태어나시고 성장하는 과정도 보면 매우 균형잡히게 성장을 하셨습니다.

1)   누가는 이렇게 기록하였습니다.

2)   예수는 지혜와 키가 자라고 하나님과 사람에게 더욱 사랑을 받았다.(눅2:52)

3)   지적 육적 영적 사회적으로 매우 균형잡힌 성장 과정을 볼 수 있습니다.

3.   우리가 하나님 보시기에 좋도록 균형잡힌 성장을 위한 방법 하나를 제안합니다.

4.   그것을 수레바퀴의 삶이라고도 합니다.

1)   중심되신 그리스도입니다.(고후5:17,갈2:20)

a.   누구든지 그리스도 안에 있으면 그는 새로운 피조물입니다. 옛 것은 지나갔습니다. 보십시오. 새 것이 되었습니다.(고후5:17)

b.   나는 그리스도와 함께 십자가에 못박혔습니다. 이제 살고 있는 것은 내가 아닙니다. 그리스도께서 내 안에서 살고 계십니다. 내가 지금 육신 안에서 살고 있는 삶은 나를 사랑하셔서 나를 위하여 자기 몸을 내어주신 하나님의 아들을 믿는 믿음 안에서 살아가는 것입니다.(갈2:20)

c.   내 삶의 중심이 내가 아니라 예수 그리스도가 되는 것입니다.

d.   ‘내 생각에는’ 라는 말에 예수님은 뭐라고 하셨는가?로

2)   그리스도께 순종하는 삶입니다.(요14:21, 롬12:1)

a.   내 계명을 받아서 지키는 사람은 나를 사랑하는 사람이요 나를 사랑하는 사람은 내 아버지의 사랑을 받을 것이다. 그리고 나도 그 사람을 사랑하여 그에게 나를 드러낼 것이다.(요14:21)

b.   형제자매 여러분 그러므로 나는 하나님의 자비하심을 힘입어 여러분에게 권합니다. 여러분의 몸을 하나님께서 기뻐하실 거룩한 산제물로 드리십시오. 이것이 여러분이 드릴 합당한 예배입니다.(롬12:1)

c.   내 뜻이 관철되기를 바라기보다 하나님의 뜻이 이루어지도록 따르는 것입니다.

d.   예수님도 내 원대로 마옵시고 아버지의 원대로 되기를 원합니다.

e.   내 삶에 예수님이 중심이 되었는가 안되었는가는 내가 예수님의 말씀에 순종하는지를 보면 알 수가 있습니다.

3)   기도하는 삶입니다.(빌4:6,7, 요15:7)

a.   아무것도 염려하지 말고 모든 일을 오직 기도와 간구로 하고 여러분이 바라는 것을 감사하는 마음으로 하나님께 아뢰십시오. 그리하면 사람의 헤아림을 뛰어 넘는 하나님의 평화가 여러분의 마음과 생각을 그리스도 예수 안에서 지켜 줄 것입니다.(빌4:6,7)

b.   너희가 내 안에 머물러 있고 내 말이 너희 안에 머물러있으면 너희가 무엇을 구하든지 다 그대로 이루어질 것이다.(요15:7)

c.   나의 노력하는 삶 이전에 하나님께 묻고 구하는 삶입니다.

d.   기도는 하나님을 바라보는 시선입니다.

4)   말씀의 삶입니다.(수1:8, 딤후3:16)

a.   이 율법책의 말씀을 늘 읽고 밤낮으로 그것을 공부하여 이 율법책에 씌어진 대로 모든 것을 성심껏 실천하여라. 그리하면 네가 가는 길이 순조로울 것이며 네가 성공할 것이다.(수1:8)

b.   모든 성경은 하나님의 영감으로 된 것으로서 교훈과 책망과 바르게 함과 의로 교육하기에 유익합니다.(딤후3:16)

c.   나의 최고 최종의 권위는 하나님의 말씀이어야 합니다.

d.   하나님께서 그렇다고 하면 그런줄 알고 아니라면 아닌줄 알고 하라면 하고 하지 말라면 하지 않는 사람이 그리스도인입니다.

5)   교제의 삶입니다.(마18:20, 히10:24,25)

a.   두세 사람이 내 이름으로 모여 있는 자리 거기에 내가 그들 가운데 있다.(마18:20)

b.   그리고 서로 마음을 써서 사랑과 선한 일을 하도록 격려합시다. 어떤 사람들의 습관처럼 우리는 모이기를 그만하지 말고 서로 격려하여 그 날이 가까워 오는 것을 볼수록 더욱 힘써 모입시다.(히10:24,25)

c.   내 이웃을 내 몸처럼 사랑할 때 하나님을 사랑한다는 것이 증명이 되어집니다.

d.   지체가 함께 성장할 때 균형잡힌 성장이 이루어집니다.

6)   증거하는 삶입니다.(마4:19, 롬1:16)

a.   예수께서 그들에게 말씀하셨다. 나를 따라 오너라 나는 너희를 사람을 낚는 어부로 삼겠다.(마4:19)

b.   나는 복음을 부끄러워하지 않습니다. 이 복음은 유대 사람을 비롯하여 그리스 사람에게 이르기까지 모든 믿는 사람을 구원하는 하나님의 능력입니다.(롬1:16)

c.   다른 사람에게 전도할 때 하나님께서 우리와 함께 하시겠다고 하셨습니다.

d.   전도할 때 우리의 정체성이 더욱 확고해집니다.

5.   이 수레바퀴가 크고 작고에 따라 우리가 당하는 여러가지 시련을 잘 이겨나갈 수도 있고 좌절할 수도 있습니다.

쉬운 삶을 달라고 기도하지 말라

오히려 강한 사람이 되게 해 달라고 기도하라

너의 능력에 맞는 일을 달라고 기도하지 말고

너의 일에 맞는 능력을 달라고 기도하라

그럴 때 당신의 일이 성취되는 것은 전혀 기적이 아닐 것이며

바라 당신 자신이 기적이 될 것이다.

매일 당신은 당신 자신 때문에 놀랄 것이고

하나님의 은혜로 말미암아 당신에게 오는 삶의 풍성함에 놀랄 것이다.

It Was Very Good
Genesis 1:1–31 (Reading verse 31)

[Introduction]
Look around you.
How do the people next to you look to you?
Are they good?
A pastor once visited Herrnhut in Germany, and a guide led him into a chapel.
It was a simple hall with no decorations.
The reason Count Zinzendorf did not decorate it lavishly was because of his belief: “There is nothing more beautiful than people.”
The prophet Zephaniah says:
“The Lord your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you… He will rejoice over you with singing.” (Zephaniah 3:17)
The cemetery he visited afterward was also very impressive.
a. The gravestones were all the same, with nothing engraved except names.
b. No one could tell who was greater or who accomplished more.
c. In the end, only one thing remains: “Did you live with Jesus?”
d. The pastor attended a prayer meeting and prayed:
e. “Lord, let my life not be one where I live for You, but where You live in me.”
Let us reflect on ourselves.
Are you satisfied?
Would God also see you as good?
Among all creation, we alone are made in the image and likeness of God.
Can we see God’s image and likeness in our lives?
Why can’t we see it?
Because Adam and Eve sinned and fell, that image was broken.
It must be restored.
We must become people who are “very good” in God’s sight.
 
I. Are We Good in God’s Sight?
A. Everything God created was good.
Today’s passage is the story of creation.
God created the heavens and the earth over six days.
Each day He created something different, but one phrase repeats:
“It was good.”
v.4: The light was good in God’s sight.
v.10: The land and sea were good.
v.12: The plants were good.
v.18: The sun, moon, and stars were good.
v.21: The creatures of the sea and birds of the air were good.
v.31: “It was very good.”
Why was the sixth day “very good”?
Scholars say it is because God created humans in His image and likeness.
 
B. Our standard must be: “How does God see it?”
When you cook at home
When you clean your house
When you raise your children—if you do it at a level pleasing to God, that is the best way.
In your workplace
In your business relationships
In how you treat customers—if done in a way pleasing to God, you will be respected.
In church—when you sing, pray, and serve—if done in a way pleasing to God, it brings Him glory and gives us great inspiration.
 
II. How Can We Become Good in God’s Sight?
A. We must surrender our lives to God so He can shape us.
Why was creation good?
→ Because a good God created it.
What about what humans produce?
The Apostle Paul wrote:
“All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” (Romans 3:23)
The Gospel of Mark says:
Evil thoughts come from within—sexual immorality, theft, murder,
adultery, greed, malice, deceit, arrogance, and foolishness…
All these evils come from inside and defile a person. (Mark 7:20–23)
 
B. God leads us to grow in balance and harmony.
Creation itself shows balance:
Day 1: Light → Day 4: Sun, moon, stars
Day 2: Sky and sea → Day 5: Birds and sea creatures
Day 3: Plants → Day 6: Animals and humans
Everything was created in harmony.
Jesus also grew in a balanced way:
“Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man.” (Luke 2:52)
→ Intellectual, physical, spiritual, and social growth.
 
3. I’d like to suggest a way to grow in a way that is good in God’s sight, and is balanced. It’s also called the wheel of life.
Christ at the centre (2 Cor 5:17, Gal 2:20)
If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation.
It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me.
b. I have been crucified with Christ, and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me. (Galatians 2:20)

→ Jesus becomes the centre of life.
d. Instead of saying, “In my opinion,” we should ask, “What did Jesus say?”
2) A life of obedience to Christ (John 14:21, Romans 12:1)
a. Whoever has my commands and keeps them is the one who loves me. The one who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love them and show myself to them. (John 14:21)
b. Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. (Rom 12:1)
c. Rather than wanting my will to prevail, it means following so that God’s will may be accomplished.
d. Jesus likewise did not desire things to be according to his own will but according to the Father’s will.
e. Whether Jesus is the centre of my life can be seen by whether or not I obey His words.
3.    A life of prayer (Philippians 4:6–7, John 15:7)
Bring everything to God in prayer.
→ Prayer is fixing our eyes on God.
A life in the Word (Joshua 1:8, 2 Timothy 3:16)
Scripture is our ultimate authority.
→ If God says it, we obey.
“Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.”
 
“All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness.”
 
“My highest and ultimate authority must be the Word of God.
A Christian is someone who accepts what God says as true, rejects what He says is not, and obeys what He commands—doing what He tells them to do and refraining from what He tells them not to do.”
 
A life of fellowship (Matthew 18:20, Hebrews 10:24–25)
“For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.”
 
24 And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, 25 not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.
 
“When I love my neighbour as myself, it proves that I love God.
Balanced growth takes place when the members grow together.”
 
A life of witnessing (Matthew 4:19, Romans 1:16)
Jesus said to them, “Follow me, and I will make you fishers of people.” (Matthew 4:19)

“I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile.” (Romans 1:16)

c. When we share the gospel with others, God has promised to be with us.
d. As we evangelize, our identity becomes more firmly established.

Depending on the size and strength of this ‘wheel,’ we may either overcome the various trials we face or become discouraged.
 
[Conclusion]
Do not pray for an easy life.
Rather, pray to become a strong person.
Do not pray for tasks equal to your abilities.
Pray for abilities equal to your tasks.
Then the accomplishment of your work will not be a miracle—
You yourself will become the miracle.
Each day you will be amazed at yourself,
And at the richness of life that comes to you by God’s grace.
